HAIR & MAKEUP TRIAL
Hair & Makeup trials in the Blue Mountains
A trial is useful so we can get to know each other a little bit. Weddings are often one of the few times that someone will have their makeup done professionally, so it is important to trial the things you think you might like.
This way I can offer you as much advice about what will and won’t work for you. It is a chance to work these things out before the stress of the day. It means that on the day you don’t have to think too much about it, you can just relax and enjoy the process. A trial usually puts people at ease so it is highly recommended.
On the day of the trial I ask that you to bring your images of what styles of hair and makeup inspire you. We can use that as a starting point and go from there. A trial also means that we can test the products on your skin to ensure you won’t experience an unexpected allergic reaction.
There are some simple rules to follow in terms of how to treat your skin in the lead up to your wedding, but the best advice?
- Don’t do anything too drastic or different to usual (including getting a facial the morning of the wedding).
- For your skin to look it’s best on the day, drink lots of water and eat simply in the days prior to your big day.
- When you exfoliate, don’t be too rigorous. And remember that your skin is best not to be too disturbed right before the wedding.
Most hair styling works best when you have NOT washed it that day. I would only suggest you wash it on the day if your hair is particularly oily.
